Where can I find a working VSI controller (joystick) for a Jazzy 1113 ATF electric wheelchair?

Elderly mother has accidentally frayed the wires leading to the VSI controller on her electric wheelchair (Jazzy ATF) and I am looking for that vsi controller joystick. Would prefer to get one used but also would like to find a place that sells new ones….need one in good working condition. OR would like to find someone who can fix it at a reasonable cost. OR someone who donates electric wheelchairs.

Why are people so cruel?

Last year I was officially named a handicapped person because I suffer from the disease known as obesity (I am 38 years old and weigh around 350 pounds). Since then, I quit my job and have been staying at home collecting social security welfare checks. Because of this, I rarely go out. I only go to Wal-Mart once every few weeks to get some groceries.
Let me tell you, every trip to Wal-Mart, from the time I leave the handicapped parking spot, is a living hell. I own an Electric Wheel Chair, and I use it whenever i go out. People simply don’t understand that due to my weight, I need it! After walking for more than 30 minutes, my feet hurt, my knees hurt and my back hurts. Not only that, but I tend to sweat constantly and it is very uncomfortable and embarassing. Whenever I pass by people, I hear them snickering at me and talking about me behind my back. Over the past year, I’ve heard things from "Look at that disgusting lady" to "Is she too fat to even walk?" and it hurts.
Whenever I hear one of those mean comments, I die a little inside. Do these people not realize that I’m a person too? I have feelings! Why are people so mean to me?

I’ll be totally honest with you. Some people are just plain mean. Some are just rude. But its a big world. Who knows what is out there? Yes- I understand your a person too and you have feelings. We all know. Not to be rude or anything, but you brought obesity upon yourself. Obesity is only caused by eating too much. The REAL thing that I didn’t really like to see was: "I’m fine with my weight if I lose weight I won’t get money anymore so…I’m good."
So your fine with people calling you a disgusting lady? And fine with the feelings you get from people who snicker at your back? And fine that you use a electric wheelchair and sweat?
That DOESN’T sound anything like FINE at all. You should loose weight NOW. Your making almost everyday of your life a living hell because of your weight and you say your ‘fine’ with your weight. And its all just for the money from your welfare checks???!!! Does your body say its worth it???NO it doesn’t! Go on a diet. Excercise! Obesity shortens your life…Once you go and get slimmer, you won’t have all the pains you have now. Go and change your life. Don’t let your life change YOU.
