I saw it last week on GMC. It was an old movie with Michael Landon in it. It was about a guy who was born completely paralyzed, and he lived with his mother, father, and brother, but his father died early in the movie. The mother takes care of him, doting on him, and clinging to the hope that he understands everything that’s going on, and the brother thinks that she is in denial, and that his brother has no idea that he is even alive, and would be better off in an institution. Then one day the brother meets a speech therapist (Michael Landon), and talks to him about his brother. So eventually they get the guy evaluated and it turns out that he’s actually really smart, knows how to read, and has movement in 2 fingers. So they give him a motorized wheel chair, and a computer to communicate with, and later he ends up writing a book called "no inner limits" about all the years he spent trapped in his body.

Episode Summary
Paul believes his brother George can do nothing because of his handicap, and because of what doctors told him and his mother. Jonathan and Mark visit George to see if there is anything that can be done to find out what George has always wanted to say, but never could.
First Jonathan and Mark test to see if George can understand simple commands. After doing the necessary work, he finally is able to communicate with his mother and his brother. Two years later George writes a book, "No Inner Limits".
